Had a doctor lie about what was wrong with my then 9 month old daughter. Took her to bluewater health ER because she had a bad cough and was getting sick, eventually she had an x-ray done, where the doctor distinctively said she had a speck of pneumonia. He then prescribed us some medication and we left. My daughter did not better she actually got worse, so we took her to Patrolia ER where the copy of the x-ray was then sent over and the doctor at Petrolia ER had said there was absolutely no signs of pneumonia, and guaranteed it is hand food and mouth (she had just started daycare that same month). He prescribed her medication. We finally got in to seeing her own pediatrician who also guaranteed hand foot and mouth. It was interesting that the doctor at bluewater health had lied to us and misdiagnosed my 9 month old baby. I felt as though my daughter was treated as if she was unimportant. We have always gone to patrolia since then.
I was at bluewater health thursday. Breathing difficulty. I thought it was my asthma. They made me comfortable. During a scary ordeal. Staff were friendly and professional. I had tests done. The dr found a more seriouse cause. Im still a little nervous with the results but because the dr was on the ball and ran the right tests im here today. Im now resting and recouperating at home. Thank you blue water health.
They were OK. I don't mind waiting because there are always more urgent people ahead of me. Needs better magazines.
They take EXCELLENT care of their patients and unlike larger hospitals (teaching hospitals like LHSC in London) they seem to care about their patients!@!!
3 hours in triage...after the doctor had written treatment is urgent! Good bedside manners but overall a painful experience. More staff is needed or a better system is required
